Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Strategy Lead to join the Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team. You will lead complex, high-visibility efforts, dive into data to understand trends, and own the annual strategic planning cycle for AWS senior leadership.

You will drive reporting, craft executive communications, and coordinate cross-functional workstreams to deliver a clear strategic vision and accelerated growth across the Private Pricing business.

Qualifications

• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of sales, business or corporate strategy experience.
• 5+ years of Tableau Desktop, QuickSight or other data visualization software experience.
• 5+ years proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• 5+ years experience owning business reporting to senior leadership and driving related discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual strategic planning cycle and hold the pen on the annual VP-level strategic plan in partnership with senior leaders
• Drive key reporting mechanisms inclusive of monthly goal updates and recurring business reviews
• Deepen the broader org’s business understanding through deep-dive analyses and delivery of documents/reports on focused topics
• Craft executive communications and reports for senior leadership including being the conduit between deep analytics reporting/dashboards and packaging up for business decision-making.
• Strengthen org cohesion and effectiveness by driving mechanisms/workstreams for cross-functional efforts
• Support senior leadership with other projects and initiatives as needed.
