Job summary

enGen in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking an IT Architect/Business Analyst to translate business needs into technical solutions. The role acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, including external vendors, ensuring requirements are complete, traceable, and verifiable.

You’ll align technical specs with business goals and collaborate across Product, Architecture, Quality, Delivery, Security, and Vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or closely related field is required.
Master degree is preferred.
Experience with IT disciplines and architectural roles is expected.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic consultation to define or design business processes and enabling technologies.
Specify and design large or complex systems, ensuring architecture aligns with business needs.
Clarify and communicate functional and non‑functional requirements for system users.
Lead significant improvement programs and drive measurable business benefits.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and manage stakeholder expectations.
Participate in customer walkthroughs, design reviews, and problem resolution sessions.
Coordinate with Product, Architecture, Quality, Delivery, Security, and Vendor teams.
