The Opportunity

We are seeking a Strategist, Programmatic Advertising to join Orange 142.

This role manages the setup and execution of programmatic campaigns, including audience targeting, creative direction, and bidding strategies, ensuring alignment with budget goals across channels. Responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments, and developing integrated strategies across display, video, mobile, and social channels. Staying current with industry trends and providing strategic recommendations are also key.

This is a remote role, with preference for candidates in Houston, TX or Austin, TX, who can work a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  1. Campaign setup and management, including creative loading, audience targeting, bidding, and scheduling.
  2. Defining and segmenting target audiences based on demographic, behavioral, and contextual data.
  3. Monitoring campaign performance metrics and analyzing results for real-time optimization.
  4. Managing budgets to maximize performance and meet financial goals.
  5. Developing cohesive cross-channel strategies for display, video, mobile, and social media.
  6. Collaborating on creative direction to ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
  7. Conducting industry trend and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in digital advertising or marketing.
  • Experience with programmatic buying required.
  • Familiarity with DSPs such as Xandr, Yahoo!, Basis, Beeswax, Amazon.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • High integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new industries and business types.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
