Independent School District 196 is seeking a Special Education Strategies Teacher (formerly CIP/EBD/OHD) for a 1.0 FTE Long-Term Substitute position. The assignment runs ASAP through December 22, 2026, with duties to teach the Strategies curriculum and support students with social communication and self-regulation needs in a supported environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed by Minnesota Department of Education in ABS/ASD/EBD/DD/LD or similar.
• Dual special education licensure preferred.
• Experience with diverse cultures and learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach the Strategies curriculum to students with social communication needs.
• Support self-regulation and social-emotional development in a structured setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and support IEPs and BSPs.
• Advocate for students to ensure high achievement and access to tools.
