Job summary

Manhattan USD 383 seeks a Social-Emotional Behavioral Learning Special Education Teacher to design, implement, and coordinate specially designed instruction and behavioral supports for students with intensive social-emotional and behavioral needs across the district. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and site staff to support success in the least restrictive environment.

Focus on behavior intervention, SEL skill development, and inclusive instruction.

Qualifications

• Kansas Teaching License required.
• Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Special Education Secondary endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage structured learning environments to promote social-emotional growth and positive behavior across district programs.
• Develop and monitor individualized behavior support plans and specially designed instruction to increase independence and LRE.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt methods to meet diverse student needs across the district.
