Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, leading workforce transformation efforts for the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. You will oversee a team delivering strategic human capital initiatives, including hiring, retention, performance management, and workforce development.

The role requires guiding multiple projects, engaging stakeholders, and delivering robust implementation plans with high-quality results

Qualifications

• Leading teams in strategic human capital transformation and implementation
• Stakeholder analyses, personas and journey maps
• Current state assessments, formulate recommendations, implement plans
• Analyze human capital data to glean insights
• Develop metrics to evaluate transformation effectiveness
• Prepare for and lead stakeholder discussions and briefings
• Provide direction to a team on complex solutions and ensure timely delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce transformation programs for DHS CHCO office.
• Develop strategic human capital and workforce transformation plans.
• Oversee hiring, retention, performance management and development processes.
• Guide a team of 5+ to deliver technical work with high standards.
• Manage multiple concurrent assignments and ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare briefing materials and status reports for senior leaders.
