Visa is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager in Austin, TX, to lead workforce planning efforts and deliver data-driven insights that optimize headcount management. You will coordinate cross-functional programs with Finance, People partners, and Talent Acquisition to support Visa's 2030 People Team strategy.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry in Workday, robust reporting, and the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or business operations.
Experience with Workday HCM and other HR systems for data entry and reporting.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in Excel, PowerQuery, PowerBI/Tableau and/or other data analysis or workforce planning tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, with a fun attitude and drive to deliver quality work.
Willingness to take and apply feedback to further develop Workforce planning skills

Responsibilities

Coordinate workforce planning pods in collaboration with Finance, People Business Partner, and the business aligning on critical WFP decisions.
Assist in managing workforce data in Workday, ensuring accurate data entry, position management, and validation of workforce plans.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis support for delivery on key business requests, such as cost/location strategies and headcount movements.
Research headcount/position changes to support financial requests like cost center changes and budget transfers.
Perform periodic headcount clean-up to ensure data integrity and correct job posting titles and closures.
Analyze workforce data and trends to support workforce intelligence.
Assist data collection for key WFP programs such as leadership development and early career initiatives.
Generate and analyze workforce reports to drive additional analysis and actions.
Validate formulas, queries, and outputs to ensure accuracy and meet timelines.
Explain reporting methodologies and analyses, regardless of data source (AI/CoPilot considerations).
Ensure proper vetting of any AI tool usage before sharing insights with stakeholders.
Collaborate with workforce planning peers to align plans with Visa's priorities and financial plan.
