Job summary

Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) seeks a Business Development Manager to lead its Workforce Development initiatives. You will cultivate employer partnerships, drive program growth, secure funding, and expand career pathways for ARC members.

The role oversees the Workforce Coordinator, aligns programming with grants, and aims to improve employment outcomes and economic mobility for justice-impacted individuals.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in workforce development, business development, employer engagement, nonprofit leadership, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Human Services, Workforce Development, or related field.
• Experience working with justice-impacted or underserved populations preferred; strong organizational & communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for ARC's Workforce Development Department.
• Directly supervise, coach, and evaluate the Workforce Coordinator.
• Develop annual workforce development goals, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
• Create systems to improve employment outcomes, retention, and career advancement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align workforce initiatives with organizational priorities.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with employers, unions, apprenticeship programs, and educational institutions.
• Identify and secure employment opportunities across multiple industries for ARC members.
