Job summary

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) seeks an experienced executive-level leader to serve as Workforce Training & Education Administrator.

This role provides statewide leadership for workforce development, Career and Technical Education, Second Chance Centers, and ACI credentialing initiatives, directing design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of programs for incarcerated and reentering individuals.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in workforce development, employer engagement, or education program management.
• At least 2 years of experience managing contracts, partnerships, or program implementation.
• Strong understanding of workforce policy, credentialing, and labor market alignment.
• Experience working with justice-involved populations or reentry programs.
• Familiarity with WIOA, ARIZONA@WORK, and industry credential systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for statewide workforce development, CTE programs, Second Chance Centers, and ACI credentialing initiatives.
• Direct design, implementation, and continuous improvement of workforce pathways for employment and reintegration.
• Oversee statewide training programs, CTE instruction, SCC services, and employer-aligned credentialing.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers, workforce boards, educational institutions, and government agencies.
