Job summary

Dynamic Workforce Solutions seeks a senior coordinator to lead strategic industry support and integrated workforce system coordination, serving as the primary liaison among workforce boards, partners, employers, and educational institutions in the Borderplex region.

You will oversee workforce intelligence, reporting, dashboards, and contract compliance while expanding apprenticeship and training opportunities, managing referrals, and driving performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Extreme Customer Service focus, ability to utilize coaching techniques to drive exceptional performance and quality results, learning orientation, communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, technical capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Public Administration, Workforce Development, Human Resources, Economic Development, Education, Human Services, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in workforce development, business services, workforce system operations, economic development, employer engagement, or workforce program management. Experience coordinating multiple partners and workforce system stakeholders preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Industry Support and Integrated Workforce System Coordination activities.
• Support WSB Innovation & Development initiatives through industry engagement, workforce intelligence gathering, and strategic workforce planning activities.
• Facilitate Workforce System Coordination Meetings and Industry & Workforce Partnership Roundtables.
• Coordinate communication among WSB Operations, Employment Services staff, workforce contractors, educational institutions, apprenticeship sponsors, economic development organizations, staffing agencies, and community partners.
• Review workforce intelligence, hiring demand, workforce shortages, business expansion opportunities, credential needs, workforce pipeline opportunities, and emerging industry trends.
• Manage employer assignment activities in accordance with WSB-established protocols.
• Oversee closed-loop referral processes, partner handoffs, follow-up activities, and service continuity.
• Monitor employer inquiries, workforce opportunities, workforce solution implementation activities, and referral outcomes.
• Maintain shared outreach calendars, employer engagement schedules, workforce events, and partner coordination activities.
• Prepare workforce intelligence summaries, monthly reports, performance dashboards, and Board updates.
• Support development of apprenticeship, work-based learning, customized training, incumbent worker training, WEX, and OJT opportunities.
• Coordinate escalation and resolution of identified service gaps, workflow barriers, duplicate outreach activities, and communication challenges.
• Monitor contract performance, documentation quality, workforce intelligence activities, and workforce system responsiveness.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, TWC, WSB, and DWFS policies and procedures.
• Utilize Extreme Customer Service principles in all interactions with WSB, workforce partners, employers, and internal staff.
