Career Team in North Central Texas is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist Lead to provide day-to-day leadership for Workforce Development Specialists delivering Employer Services under the Wagner-Peyser Act. You will serve as the primary contact for center staff and help ensure quality workforce services to employers and job seekers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in workforce development, recruiting, employer engagement, case management, human resources, social services, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of workforce programs, business services, and labor market information.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workforce Development Specialists to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Coordinate daily activities and monitor staff coverage to meet customer needs.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance on policies, procedures, and systems.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with employers and industry partners.
• Monitor compliance and performance data, and assist with quality assurance reviews.
• Plan and coordinate hiring events, job fairs, and outreach activities.
