Job summary

Empire State Development is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Wireless to lead NYS wireless infrastructure initiatives from ConnectALL. Based in Albany, NY, the role requires in-office presence with possible hybrid schedules.

You will coordinate with regulators, carriers, and vendors to expand coverage and manage deployment milestones. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in wireless Program Management, strong PM skills, and experience with site control, permitting, and NYS land-use practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in wireless telecommunications program management or infrastructure delivery.
• Experience with site control, site acquisition and permitting in New York State.
• Knowledge of land use and utility deployment practices in New York State.
• Strong project management, time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate and sustain stakeholder relationships and travel for deployment activities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and regulatory agencies to expand wireless infrastructure access.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with carriers and third parties.
• Coordinate regional plans to expand wireless coverage.
• Forecast, schedule, and assign resources for deployment activities.
• Drive growth by marketing public assets to private carriers.
• Engage vendors as needed and manage program milestones.
• Provide updates on risks and escalation points to leadership.
