Job summary

HDR's Portland Water/Wastewater team seeks a Water Resources Management Market Sector Leader to guide multi-discipline projects from planning through delivery. You will drive client relationships, pursue growth opportunities, and mentor staff while collaborating across HDR’s national network to enhance services in drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater markets.

You will lead strategic pursuits, promote HDR capabilities, and contribute to the firm’s long-term growth strategy within a culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Experience managing client relationships and pursuing projects.
• Experience with staff development including recruitment and career growth.
• Active involvement with industry associations and market visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead client development and serve as trusted advisor to regional clients.
• Direct and oversee complex, multi-discipline water infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate across HDR groups to expand services and capabilities.
• Mentor and develop the next generation of water industry leaders.
• Represent HDR in industry orgs, conferences and community activities.
