Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I to lead warehouse operations nationwide from Goodyear, AZ. The role requires steering strategic processes, elevating safety, and driving productivity across multiple facilities with a broad leadership remit.

You will manage day-to-day operations, optimize costs, and maintain close customer relationships while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL/contract logistics preferred.
• Experience with staff management and P&L ownership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, fostering a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and oversee operational and personnel activities for a safe, clean facility.
• Utilize WMS and automation to track inventory and performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services within the contract.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and KPIs to drive improvements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through daily contact and service excellence.
• Accountable for site Profit & Loss and overall financial performance.
• Prepare and present monthly/quarterly business reviews to customers.
