Job summary

Barclays in Whippany, NJ is seeking a VP Operational Resilience to develop, implement, and maintain an effective resilience strategy and incident management framework aligned to regulatory expectations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, work with senior stakeholders, and ensure recovery of Important Business Services through rigorous testing, change controls, and clear executive dashboards.

Competitive salary between $150,000 and $200,000 with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Significant exposure to and senior stakeholders with a financial services business area, preferable Investment Banking/Markets.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a multi-faceted control environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver highly detailed short-term projects.
• Project Management – including milestone creation, tracking, issue escalation, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Socialisation and implementation of the resilience strategy and underpinning framework across the firm, ensuring compliance with the standard and controls.
• Development and enhancement of the resilience, crisis and incident management framework to uplift recovery and response capabilities.
• Oversee business and technology recovery capability improvements and uplift third-party recovery capabilities.
• Communicate the firm’s resilience position through clear, transparent scorecards to enable board/exec decisions.
