Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management SME – VP to strengthen our cybersecurity posture. You will identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risk, and drive remediation across the enterprise with threat-informed guidance.

Located in Whippany, NJ, you will partner with Technology, Engineering, and Cybersecurity teams to reduce risk, influence policy, and implement automation for vulnerability processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with tools for identifying vulnerabilities (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, OpenVAS).
• Experience with patch deployment strategies across OSs and applications.
• Knowledge of network architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure protocols.
• Understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS security features.

Responsibilities

• Allocate risk ratings and prioritize remediations for vulnerabilities.
• Develop vulnerability management policies and operating model.
• Own the Vulnerability Management Standard and regulatory alignment.
• Report remediation status to senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence and Cyber Operations for risk context.
