Job summary

Barclays in Whippany, NJ seeks a Vice President of Operational Resilience for Investment Bank to lead the resilience strategy and recovery planning. Qualifications

• Significant exposure to senior stakeholders in financial services, ideally Investment Banking/Markets.
• Ability to operate in a multi-faceted control environment.
• Ability to deliver highly detailed short-term projects.
• Project Management including milestone creation, tracking, issue escalation, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Socialise and implement the resilience strategy and framework across the firm, ensuring compliance with standards and controls.
• Develop and enhance resilience, crisis and incident management frameworks to uplift recovery and response capabilities.
• Improve Operational Recovery Planning and security incident management standards and controls.
• Provide oversight to recovery capabilities and third-party (suppliers and FMIs) resilience.
• Communicate the firm-wide resilience position through clear dashboards to enable investment decisions by the Board and Execs.
• Ensure robust testing coverage to demonstrate the ability to recover within impact tolerance.
• Ensure services are built resiliently through change management processes and regular improvements.
• Stay abreast of resilience regulations and emerging threats and industry developments.
• Mitigate incident impact by identifying and resolving events threatening services, operations and customers.
