Job summary

Renovo Search is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations for a growing energy infrastructure portfolio. This hands-on leadership role requires strong US GAAP expertise, internal controls, and the ability to drive process improvements across multi-entity entities.

The successful candidate will manage a small accounting team, partner with senior leadership, and coordinate internal and external audits while ensuring timely financial reporting and strategic financial

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with US GAAP exposure.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations.
• Experience supervising accounting professionals.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages and management narratives.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to senior management and external stakeholders.
• Review accounting activity to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
