Job summary

Encore in San Francisco seeks a Sales Manager, Venues to guide customers through event experiences and maximize revenue. You will cultivate relationships with hotel personnel and coordinate with Encore teams to deliver compelling event outcomes.

The role requires a consultative sales approach, strong communication, and knowledge of hospitality and audiovisual services, reporting to a Sr. Sales Manager or Director of Event Technology.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience required.
• 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred.
• Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach.
• Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers.
• Collaborate with vendors and departments to capture and service events.
• Attend site visits and planning meetings to support the customer event experience.
• Understand event cost structure and incorporate into solution designs.
