Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking a data-driven professional to govern a small portfolio of strategic technology suppliers, turning data into commercial insight and strategic recommendations. You will chair governance cadences, drive QBRs, and partner with vendors to prepare performance packs and risk evidence.

You will analyze licensing, consumption data and renewals to optimize spend, identify opportunities for rightsizing and consolidation, and automate reporting workflows to support leadership

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years in vendor or supplier management, third party/contractor governance, or a commercial and analytical role within a technology function.
• Strong understanding of technology, terminology, and concepts.
• Experience chairing supplier governance meetings including service reviews, QBRs or equivalent, with materials and closure of actions.
• Strong analytical ability with large and imperfect commercial datasets: advanced Excel, and the patience to reconcile data that does not tie.
• Commercial judgment; able to make and defend calls where there is no single right answer.
• Working understanding of supplier risk and governance frameworks, contract lifecycle, and renewals mechanics.
• Genuine breadth, moving between chairing reviews, building data models, and drafting leadership papers.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting performance and risk to senior stakeholders.
• Organised and self-directed — able to maintain governance calendar and reporting cycle without reminders.

Responsibilities

• Govern: run the supplier governance rhythm for a small portfolio (2–5).
• Establish QBRs where absent, and raise standards where they exist with appropriate agenda, attendees, and action packs.
• Partner with vendors to produce KPI/SLA packs, spend and commitment positions, risks, and progress against actions.
• Support Business Supplier Owners under our Supplier Risk Management framework with reviews and audit-ready evidence.
• Analyze technology tooling, licensing and consumption data to show usage, costs, and value loss.
• Build forward-looking analysis for renewals and commercial events using usage, demand, contracts and pricing data.
• Identify rightsizing, consolidation, and consumption opportunities across cloud/software services with quantified impact.
• Maintain trusted analytic models and document assumptions behind movements.
