Job summary

IVIONICS is seeking a Director of Professional Services to act as senior vCIO for major clients and to lead the consulting practice. You will shape IT strategy, build executive-level client relationships, and drive growth across the advisory team.

You will oversee Practice Managers, knowledge specialists, and consultants in delivering strategic technology roadmaps, governance, and value-based engagements with enterprise clients. A strong leadership presence is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in MSP, IT consulting, or professional services.
• Experience as a vCIO, IT Director, or senior adviser with enterprise/mid-market clients.
• Proven leadership of delivery teams with measurable outcomes.
• Executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate tech concepts into business value.
• Familiarity with IT governance, managed services, and SLA management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Practice Managers (jr. vCIOs), legal knowledge specialists, and consulting staff.
• Define the consulting practice’s vision, service offerings, and delivery methodology.
• Establish performance standards and career development pathways for the team.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between consulting, managed services, sales, and operations.
• Serve as senior vCIO for strategic client relationships and long-term IT strategy.
• Lead executive business reviews (EBRs, QBRs) with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Own the P&L and utilization targets for the professional services practice.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion and new revenue streams.
