Job summary

CIO Solutions LP is seeking a vCIO to lead executive-level partnerships with assigned clients, guiding technology lifecycles and aligning business objectives with our tech stack. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, technical aptitude, and relationship management to drive client success from our Goleta, CA office.

You will translate client needs into actionable roadmaps, monitor progress against goals, and communicate recommendations for technology investments that support business

Qualifications

• Technical background and experience in a technical role.

• 3 years of sales or customer relations experience.
• BA/BS, preferably in information systems, business administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Owns client relationships and aligns technology plans with business objectives.
• Conducts quarterly/annual client check-ins and coordinates technology lifecycles.
• Develops multi-year technology roadmaps and budget plans for clients.
• Builds trust and long-term client retention through proactive guidance.
• Cross-sells and up-sells services to existing accounts.
• Scope, quote, and present IT solutions aligned to client needs.
• Discusses complex concepts with technical and non-technical contacts.
• Communicates features and manages expectations throughout the lifecycle.
• Manages proposals, contracts, and SLAs.
• Executes sales activities in ConnectWise and adheres to policies.
