Charles IT seeks an experienced Virtual Client Information Officer (vCIO) to provide strategic technology leadership for managed services clients in Stamford, CT. You will evaluate IT environments, architect long-term technology strategies, and coordinate with executives to align infrastructure, security, and operations with business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting, technical account management, or IT leadership.
• Experience developing IT strategies, managing budgets, and advising C-suite stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including network, virtualization, cloud, endpoints, and cybersecurity practices.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute strategic IT roadmaps that align infrastructure investments, technology initiatives, and business objectives.
• Evaluate client IT environments to identify performance gaps and opportunities for optimization.
• Provide technical leadership on modernization, migrations, cloud adoption, and IT lifecycle management.
• Lead executive-level technology reviews presenting assessments, risk analysis, and strategic initiatives to clients.
• Oversee IT budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and capital expenditure planning.
• Strengthen client security postures through alignment with industry frameworks and governance practices.
• Scope and oversee infrastructure projects ensuring alignment with client requirements and standards.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Establish and maintain technical standards, documentation, and best practices across managed environments.
• Mentor internal staff and collaborate across departments for consistent service delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must pass background and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
