Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Named Account Executive for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) within our Enterprise Public Sector team. You will manage existing relationships and new opportunities, driving the Salesforce 360 platform across VA initiatives.

Your role focuses on strategic account planning, leveraging a deep VA network, and coordinating with product, customer success, and engineering to deliver integrated solutions. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales and account management in large enterprise US Federal Civilian Accounts (VA focus).
• Deep network with VA decision-makers, stakeholders, SIs, and federal partners.
• Strong VA procurement knowledge, modernization programs, and contracting vehicles.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrixed enterprise.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in public sector enterprise sales.
• Strong business and technical aptitude addressing agency data security and transformation goals.
• Experience in solution selling and long-term account planning for federal agencies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (military/service experience considered).

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with VA stakeholders, SES leaders, program managers, and procurement officials.
• Develop and execute long-term account strategy tailored to VA initiatives.
• Coordinate internal resources to deliver cohesive VA solutions.
• Define and execute VA territory plans to meet/exceed quotas.
• Navigate government buying cycles and contract vehicles across multiple opportunities.
