Job summary

Red Clay Consulting seeks a Business Development Executive with deep utility consulting experience in CIS, MDM, Asset Management and Mobile Workforce Management to drive new business across electric, water and gas sectors.

You will lead the sales cycle, develop compelling proposals, and build industry alliances while traveling up to 80% of the time; a proven record of closing complex deals and strong network skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, business or a related field.
• 6–12 years of work experience in professional services consulting.
• Prefer six years in utilities and strong CIS/MDM expertise.
• Ability to travel up to 80% weekly (Mon–Thu).

Responsibilities

• Research new prospects and map the marketplace; grow contacts.
• Contribute to sales cycle from relationship building to delivery.
• Develop detailed proposals addressing client needs in CIS, MDM, and asset management.
• Identify alliance partners to drive leads to Red Clay.
• Lead pursuit of new customers in electric, water, and gas utilities.
• Attend industry events to expand Red Clay's network and influence.
• Provide leadership around proposals and delivery teams.
