Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Executive Underwriting Priorities to support Caremark Underwriting leadership with research, validation, and synthesis of information for time-sensitive decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel expertise, and comfort with large datasets in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will model outputs, investigate drivers of change in pricing, and coordinate across stakeholders to obtain data sources and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in analytics, finance, underwriting, actuarial, forecasting, or similar.
• Proficient in Excel with complex formulas and modeling.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts for data extraction and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ad hoc requests with targeted analyses and clear readouts for leadership.
• Perform diagnostic reviews to explain changes in results across pricing and forecasting tools/models.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain data lineage and ensure correct interpretation of results.
• Build and maintain side analyses (mainly in Excel) to validate assumptions and quantify impacts.
• Work with structured datasets and SQL to extract/validate inputs and outputs.
• Document assumptions and reference materials to improve repeatability.
