Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to advance financial analysis and pricing strategy within the PBM and Enterprise teams. You will support underwriting leadership, develop pricing for downstream pricing, and drive value through Caremark pricing models.

The role emphasizes rigorous analysis, data-driven recommendations, and collaboration with Sales, Caremark, and Finance to optimize margins and respond to regulatory changes. This is a full-time role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Experience with PBM pricing, Caremark models, and enterprise profitability.
• Strong Excel and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on competitive analysis.
• Assist underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment data.
• Complete tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support internal and client requests.
• Build relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark, and Finance partners.
