Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator in Brentwood, TN to consolidate orders, plan loads, and coordinate with carriers using the Transportation Management System (TMS).

You will monitor on-time performance, respond to client inquiries, and prepare periodic financial and service reports for clients, while driving cost-saving initiatives and ensuring compliance with routing expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or coordinator role.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems.
• Experience with optimization tools preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Consolidates client orders into optimal load profiles and assigns carriers.
• Loads planning, optimization, routing and scheduling of all transportation modes.
• Drives system load decisions to book hundreds of loads daily in line with client routing expectations.
• Responds to client needs by emails, calls, tracking shipments.
• Leads daily/weekly/monthly meetings with client and GEODIS leadership.
• Develops and presents reports to clients on a regular basis.
