Job summary

Altoz Inc. is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Manager to translate business needs into logistics strategies that drive growth, improve customer experience, reduce costs, and enhance safety.

You will build efficient truckloads, schedule drivers, and plan routes while proactively selling inventory to dealers and customers to support sales objectives. In this role, you will coordinate carriers and driver schedules, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, and maintain compliance with DOT

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, shipping, warehousing, or a related operations environment.
• Experience with ERP software and Microsoft Office platforms.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation safety requirements, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of dispatch, fleet, and drivers.
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries.
• Build trip rate sheets using Trip Manager and Shipping Calendar.
• Optimize truck loads based on availability and priorities.
• Proactively identify opportunities to sell inventory and coordinate with dealers and sales.
• Develop load-building solutions to reduce freight costs and improve profitability.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with sales, dealers, and customer service.
• Monitor supplier shipping performance and address issues to minimize disruptions.
