Job summary

Pulmuone seeks a Logistics Analyst II to coordinate daily transportation operations, focusing on carrier tendering, scheduling, and cost-effective delivery of customer orders. This role ensures on-time pickups, accurate PODs, and compliant DOT/HOS practices while maintaining precise shipment records.

You will work with carriers and internal teams to resolve issues, optimize routes, and streamline carrier invoices, leveraging TMS and ERP systems to support a robust, compliant logistics workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of hands-on experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics operations.
• Experience with carrier tendering, shipment coordination, and TMS.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMSCA requirements, including Hours of Service.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• Experience with freight/carrier invoices, claims, PODs, and shipment tracking.
• Experience with LTL, truckload, ERP systems, and Excel.
• Food manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or temperature-controlled logistics experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily outbound transportation requirements.
• Tender loads to assigned carriers to support on-time pickup and delivery.
• Monitor carrier tender acceptance and follow up on unaccepted shipments.
• Arrange backup carrier coverage within six hours when needed.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders on schedules and issues.
• Obtain and maintain proof of delivery documentation.
• Identify transportation issues and escalate for resolution.
• Review and process carrier invoices within 15 days of receipt.
• Maintain shipment and carrier information in the TMS and systems.
• Support daily logistics operations and freight cost tracking.
