Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Transportation Operations Analyst to provide analytical, planning, and budgetary support for inbound and outbound transportation. The role involves partnering with plant shipping operations to optimize capacity, tendering loads to carriers, and improving cost efficiency.

The position requires 3–5 years in transportation/logistics, plus experience with SAP and WMS. Travel and a Monday–Friday schedule apply, with occasional extended hours for project follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in Transportation, Carrier Management, or Logistics.
• Experience with SAP and WMS/Warehouse Management Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant shipping operations to plan transportation based on outbound capacity and plant-specific logistics strategies.
• Tender inbound and outbound loads and requirements to optimal carrier partners, meeting service and financial objectives.
• Plan CCM Fleet drivers on shipments based on availability and Hours of Service (HOS).
• Replan shipments when necessary and reoptimize based on new attributes and requirements.
• Procure rates and capacity when necessary.
• Manage carrier partners and performance: track/trace shipments, manage exceptions, and coordinate with Order Management on status.
