AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER is seeking a senior strategist focused on competitive-regulated transmission bids and grid-scale energy storage initiatives. You will partner with policy, regulatory, finance, and budgeting teams to support strategic projects and proposals.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, perform detailed financial and market analyses, and prepare presentations for leadership and the board. A Bachelor's degree and ~10 years of experience are expected; MBA is a plus.

Qualificações

• MBA preferred
• Strong commercial, analytical, oral and written communication and presentation skills are required.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, customers, vendors or partners is preferred.
• Working knowledge of transmission cost recovery and transmission business functions is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Strategize to attain competitive bid development opportunities for electric transmission infrastructure investments and grid-scale energy storage solutions.
• Manage and perform proposal and bid development via multi-functional teams with internal and external resources, including complex financial analysis and coordinating input.
• Research market conditions to support recommendations on markets, competitors, trends, and participate in discussions with market participants.
