Enova International is seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Transactional Law/Contracts to support our US, Brazil, and Mexico operations. You will own a high-volume, tech-forward practice negotiating commercial, financial services, and technology contracts.

The role emphasizes risk-based guidance, CLM modernization with AI, and close collaboration with senior stakeholders. Requires a JD, active bar membership, 5+ years of experience, and comfort in a fast-paced hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with active bar membership.
• 5+ years of relevant transactional experience at a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house.
• Strong contract and legal analysis skills with business-ready recommendations.
• Experience in financial services, banking or related regulated industries preferred.
• In-house experience with business partners a plus; AI fluency encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead, draft, and negotiate commercial, financial services, and technology contracts across global operations.
• Advise business partners on terms, risk, and structuring to enable commercial speed.
• Calibrate risk on IP, privacy, data security, indemnification, and regulatory matters.
• Own CLM program and champion AI-enabled workflows to boost productivity.
• Coordinate with Third-Party Risk and regulatory counsel; manage outside counsel as needed.
