Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Training and Development Manager to lead a team responsible for onboarding and training US Commercial field staff across multiple units. The role emphasizes people leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid work with in-person trainings at Amgen headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA. Successful candidates will have advanced degrees in related fields and substantial experience in pharmaceutical training and development.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree is required or equivalent.
• Masters, Bachelors, or Associates with pharma/training experience acceptable.
• Minimum years and level of experience in pharma-related training and development.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Experience coordinating large-scale training events and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Training Associates.
• Oversee onboarding and training for US Commercial field staff.
• Coordinate in-person and virtual training events.
• Manage onboarding rosters and compliance tracking.
• Produce and distribute training metrics and reports.
