Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Manager of Training & Development for Obesity & Related Conditions. This U.S. Remote role leads the onboarding program design, governance, and continuous improvement, and heads a team of managers supporting onboarding and field development.

You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Patient Access, Compliance, Legal, HR, and Global Learning to deliver compliant, engaging learning solutions and manage complex vendor partnerships in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of field sales, commercial training, learning and development, sales management, or related experience in a large-scale organization.
• Master's degree and 4 years of field sales, commercial training, learning and development, sales management, or related experience in a large-scale organization.
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of field sales, commercial training, learning and development, sales management, or related experience in a large-scale organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of the U.S. Sales New Hire Onboarding Program for Obesity & Related Conditions.
• Manage onboarding operations, learner enrollment, curricula, calendars, communications, attendance, completion tracking, and audit readiness.
• Hire, coach, and develop a team of training managers to support onboarding and field capabilities.
• Establish national training standards and operating rhythms across onboarding, sales capabilities, and field training.
• Facilitate learning workshops at national and regional meetings to elevate sales capabilities.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the Obesity & Related Conditions Training SharePoint site and governance.
