Job summary

Pillar Care Continuum, Inc. is seeking a Training Manager in East Hanover, NJ to strengthen organizational learning and staff competency across programs.

The role focuses on learning strategy, program management, and workforce development to support individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training delivery, compliance education, onboarding, and leadership development within NJ IDD contexts, working across multiple programs and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Business Management, Human Resources, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Experience in IDD environment and supporting programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to design learning strategies, leadership development, curricula, and evaluation processes.
• Strong program and project management with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven decision making to assess program effectiveness and improvements.
• Proficiency with LMS and workforce technology platforms; adaptable to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a forward-looking learning and development strategy aligned with PCC’s goals and workforce priorities.
• Design, develop, and deliver scalable learning programs for compliance, education, onboarding, competency, leadership, and role-based training across the agency.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of learning and leadership programs including needs assessment, design, scheduling, logistics, facilitation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) and required training compliance processes including tracking, reporting, and state/accreditation requirements.
• Lead curriculum strategy and execution for PCC Learning Academy including scheduling, trainer coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Develop and maintain learning content, learning paths, resources, and annual training calendar.
• Use data, feedback, and trends to identify gaps and evolve learning programs.
