Job summary

John Hancock is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives delivering integrated technology solutions across insurance value chains. The role partners with business initiative owners, product owners, and technology leaders to align capabilities, capacity, and investment with commitments, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and strong risk management.

The TPM will translate business and regulatory needs into coordinated development, testing, and business-readiness

Qualifications

3–5 years of technical program management experience.
3+ years delivering technology solutions in life & annuity insurance.
Experience with administration platforms including Verisk FAST and Hexure FireLight/Foresight.
Familiarity with life & annuity regulatory concepts and product-change cadence.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Experience coordinating complex releases and business readiness.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full SDLC for initiatives supporting John Hancock Insurance priorities.
Delivery of technology solutions including planning, execution, and post-initiative evaluation.
Apply technical expertise to implement technology strategies and ensure delivery.
