Job summary

John Hancock is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic technology initiatives across New Business and Underwriting. You will partner with business leaders, product owners, underwriters, operations, architecture, engineering, data, risk, and vendors to translate priorities into executable roadmaps and drive delivery across the application journey.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of technical program management experience in a related field.
• 3+ years delivering technology solutions in life insurance with New Business and Underwriting exposure.
• Familiarity with life insurance regulatory concepts and product change cadence.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile methods, and project tooling to track progress.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full SDLC for initiatives supporting John Hancock Insurance priorities from initiation to post-launch support.
• Lead technology delivery ensuring scope, budget, schedule, regulatory and customer commitments.
• Apply software engineering knowledge to support technology strategies and enable delivery.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and coordinate requests with IT service areas.
