Job summary

Scale is seeking an experienced technical delivery leader to own national security mission areas from requirements to deployment. You will work with engineering teams to translate workflows into PRDs/ERDs, manage dependencies, and drive integrated planning across programs.

The role requires deep technical literacy, ability to navigate secure environments, and willingness to travel for onsite engagements and evaluations. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 5+ years in technical program management, software engineering, systems engineering, product management, technical consulting, or related role
• Strong technical literacy across software architecture, APIs, data systems, system integration, and AI/ML-enabled products
• Ability to write detailed technical and product requirements for engineering teams
• Experience driving complex technical programs across multiple engineering and stakeholder groups

Responsibilities

• Own technical execution for national security mission areas from requirements through deployment and evaluation
• Translate workflows into PRDs, ERDs, and executable engineering work
• Collaborate with engineers in cycle planning to define scope, architecture constraints, and milestones
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from objective to build and test
• Drive Jira/GitLab execution and input into master schedules and planning
• Understand data availability, system architecture, and integration constraints across secure networks
• Identify blockers early, escalate risks when required
• Coordinate with subcontractors and external teams on interfaces and handoffs
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to engineers and senior stakeholders
