Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a seasoned technical program manager to own national security mission areas, translate workflows into actionable documents, and coordinate with engineering for secure, high‑assurance deliveries.

You will drive cross‑functional planning, manage dependencies, and communicate with senior stakeholders in a regulated environment. You will travel 25–50% for onsite engagements, contribute in secure facilities, and help scale agentic AI solutions across defense portfolios.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required.
5+ years in technical program management or related roles.
Strong literacy across software architecture, APIs, data systems.
Ability to write detailed technical and product requirements.
Experience driving complex programs across multiple teams.
Understand data availability and integration constraints in secure environments.
Willingness to travel 25–50% for onsite work.

Responsibilities

Own technical execution for national security mission areas from requirements to deployment.
Translate workflows into PRDs, ERDs and executable work.
Collaborate with engineers on scope, architecture constraints, and milestones.
Maintain end‑to‑end requirements traceability to builds and tests.
Drive Jira/GitLab execution and update master schedules.
Manage data availability, system architecture and integration constraints.
Identify blockers early and elevate risks as needed.
Partner with subcontractors and external teams on interfaces and handoffs.
Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to engineers and senior stakeholders.
