Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager for its public sector delivery team in Washington, DC. You will own technical execution across national security areas, translating requirements into PRDs/ERDs, and driving cross-functional engineering work.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5+ years in technical program management or related field.
• Strong literacy across software architecture, APIs, data systems, and AI/ML-enabled products.
• Ability to write detailed requirements for engineering execution.
• Experience coordinating multiple engineering and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Own technical execution for national security mission areas from requirements to deployment.
• Translate workflows into PRDs, ERDs, and executable engineering work.
• Collaborate with engineers on scope, architecture constraints, dependencies, and milestones.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from objective to deliverable.
• Drive Jira/GitLab execution and participate in program-level planning.
• Manage data availability, system architecture, and integration constraints across secure networks.
• Escalate risks and resolve blockers; coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
• Communicate progress and tradeoffs to engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
