Job summary

AbbVie seeks a program manager to serve as the focal point for products manufactured for AbbVie by TPMs or where AbbVie acts as a Third Party Manufacturer. You will coordinate with Legal, MTS, R&D, Materials Management & Logistics, Marketing & BD, QA, Regulatory, MNO, and AbbVie Manufacturing Plants to ensure supply and contract alignment.

Travel to TPM/TPC sites, negotiate extensions, manage capacity analyses versus forecasts, identify sourcing opportunities, and maintain Third Party Contract

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Science, Engineering, Operations, Business or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 8 years experience in Manufacturing, Program Management, Materials Management, Logistics, QA, Marketing, Business Development or Engineering.
• Demonstrated success in financial analysis, negotiations and project management.
• Excellent Program Management, Presentation, Oral and Written Communication Skills.
• Team oriented with understanding of operations and logistical issues.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Understanding regulatory and compliance requirements related to manufacturing and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between AbbVie and Third Party Customer or Third Party Manufacturer.
• Travel to TPM/TPC sites and build meaningful relationships.
• Primary AbbVie interface with executive management at TPMs and TPCs.
• Ensure contract commitments are fulfilled and resolve issues.
• Assure TPM capacity analysis aligns with forecasts and address concerns.
• Identify opportunities to in-source or out-source products to maximize value.
• Negotiate new contracts and extensions with Third Parties.
• Maintain Third Party Contract information and track milestones.
• Identify TPMs for new/existing products and support launches.
• Develop and maintain TPM Capability and Due Diligence Database.
