Job summary

Edmonds College is seeking a Program Specialist 3 in Testing and Assessment Services to direct, execute, and advise on comprehensive testing operations. This role serves as the primary contact for College Board and Pearson Vue, ensuring policy alignment and accurate data reporting.

Responsibilities include coordinating Accuplacer/LOEP/DSP and related placements, training staff, and coordinating with academic departments to manage alternate placements and testing workflows.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct operational experience in a higher education environment or equivalent.
• Proficiency with higher education Student Management Systems (ctcLink, PeopleSoft, or similar).
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, cloud databases, Google Docs, and Gmail.
• Demonstrated student-centered customer service approach, outstanding interpersonal skills, strong organizational capacities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer and proctor placement tests and specialized examinations (Accuplacer, LOEP, DSP, GED, MCAT, TEAS, etc.).
• Evaluate and interpret placement using multiple measures, including transcripts and test scores.
• Enter and track test data and final course placements in ctcLink and shared logs.
• Maintain program policies and the statewide placement reciprocity process.
• Provide training and guidance on testing procedures and multiple measures.
