Job summary

Shermco Industries is seeking a Territory Account Manager to cover Central NJ, Northern NJ and NYC, driving direct sales across industrial, data center, hospital, and electrical contractor segments. You will manage key accounts, qualify opportunities, and develop sales strategies to meet targeted revenue goals.

The role requires 3+ years in outside B2B sales within engineering or related industries, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education & experience in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience in engineering, industrial, or heavy commercial industries.
• Power-related knowledge including high-voltage equipment and engineering services is a plus.
• Self-directed, motivated, and able to forecast and manage profitability.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to persuade decision makers.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 20% of the time.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Provide account management and sales targeting to sell the full line of electrical testing, maintenance, repair & engineering services.
• Qualify prospective sales opportunities to determine which to pursue.
• Attain yearly multi-million dollar sales budgets.
• Identify, develop and implement sales strategies.
• Prepare estimates, sales proposals, and sales presentations.
• Visit assigned accounts regularly to maintain strategic relationships and identify opportunities.
• Support marketing activities such as road shows, conferences, and trade shows.
• Manage pricing and channel issues related to quotes and cross-selling.
• Process sales through the CRM and secure purchase orders and terms.
