Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Technology Program Manager to orchestrate long-term, large-scale technology programs across the bank. The role requires leading matrixed teams, building governance structures, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

You will influence strategic direction, manage risks, and communicate with senior stakeholders while driving roadmaps and vendor engagements to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 7 years experience managing highly complex technical projects with large teams.
• Minimum of 2 years technical program and/or portfolio manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple highly complex long-term technology projects and programs with significant impact
• Influence strategic direction and develop actionable plans with latitude
• Provide comprehensive solutions and communicate with internal clients and business stakeholders
• Lead from proposal through planning and implementation using SME input
• Manage complex project, program, and portfolio budgets
• Drive activities to meet objectives, budget, scope, quality and schedules
• Conduct risk assessments and define mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Coordinate resources, governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Interface with management across the bank and mentor team members
• Design solutions with creativity and present formal reports to senior leadership
• Develop roadmaps in collaboration with business owners and vendors
