Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Technology Strategy Director to deliver advisory and implementation services across client organizations within the AIDT Practice. You’ll help clients adopt new tech strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and develop compelling business cases and roadmaps.

The role requires at least 9 years in strategy consulting and strong proposal development, with hybrid work and in-person presence at least three days weekly. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of related work experience in Strategy Consulting, servicing Technology related engagements preferred.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills.
• Experience in the assessment of IT organizations – capability to strategy alignment, cost structure, and operating model.
• Experience in package selection, implementation planning and application architecture model development.
• Experience with strategic IT assessment, enterprise cloud assessments and roadmap development.
• Can travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Possess a working knowledge of how a commercial or large non-profit organization functions from an organizational, operating model, process, and technology perspective.
• Develop and keep professional up to date on technology trends and marketplace solutions.
• Assist practice leaders with proposal development and identifying new opportunities for GT.
• Lead teams performing strategic assessments of client technology environments against best practices and maturity model frameworks.
• Develop value-add recommendations and roadmaps meeting client needs.
• Lead teams in software package selection, solution design, and implementation planning engagements.
• Assess technology organizations and align capabilities to enterprise strategy, cost structure, and operating model.
• Develop deep and relevant recommendations and roadmaps for implementation.
• Analyze complex data and communicate to senior audiences; build business cases and budgets.
