Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Technology Strategy Senior Associate to join the AI, Data and Technology Practice. You will provide strategic advisory services to address business challenges across client technology organizations, with support from the Transformation team from day one.

The role includes developing roadmaps and business cases, performing strategic assessments, and delivering capabilities in IT strategy, portfolio, architecture, and cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• MBA or MIS preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of related work experience in Strategy Consulting.
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Services, Healthcare, Banking, Private Equity, or large Non-Profits is a plus.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills.
• Experience in IT organization assessment, capability-to-strategy alignment, cost structure, and operating model.
• Experience with strategic IT assessment, enterprise cloud assessments and roadmap development.
• Can travel as needed; travel up to 40%.
• Hybrid work model requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategic advisory services addressing business challenges throughout client technology organizations.
• Develop thoughtful, value-add recommendations and roadmaps that meet client needs.
• Execute projects such as application portfolio strategy, enterprise IT strategy, technology architecture & cloud, and technology operations design.
• Utilize first principles thinking and customize frameworks and methodologies to solve challenges.
• Analyze complex data and synthesize output for senior audiences.
• Build and analyze financial models and budgets.
• Demonstrate executive presence to act as a trusted advisor to C-suite clients.
