Discord is seeking a strategic Technical Sourcer to support our most complex engineering roles by activating passive candidates. This US-based, remote-friendly role partners with engineering leadership to size talent pools, map roles, and run sophisticated sourcing strategies.

You’ll craft personalized outreach, own the candidate experience, and help build a strong, data-driven pipeline across the US. Remote options include SF Bay Area or broader U.S., with base compensation in a defined range.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical sourcing or recruitment, preferably in a high-growth tech company.
• Proven success hiring senior, staff, principal engineers and managers in competitive markets.
• Strong technical aptitude to translate requirements into signals and criteria.
• Expert boolean search and advanced sourcing methods beyond traditional platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and tech leaders to define role requirements and sourcing criteria.
• Conduct TAM research to size talent pools and inform hiring timelines.
• Develop job mapping by analyzing competitors and target accounts.
• Build and execute customized sourcing strategies for each requisition.
• Identify and engage talent and collaborate with recruiters and leaders.
• Craft personalized outreach campaigns that highlight Discord's technical challenges.
• Own candidate experience from outreach to recruiter handoff.
• Represent Discord at events and nurture talent communities for pipeline health.
• Maintain data hygiene and report pipeline metrics to optimize sourcing ROI.
