Job summary

Swoon seeks a Technical Talent Sourcer (Contract) to drive high-priority hiring across engineering and technical functions during rapid scale. You will source and evaluate candidates for Software Engineering, Data, and Infrastructure roles, operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will assess technical profiles beyond keywords, manage pipelines in ATS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Open to multiple U.S. locations with preference for SF, Seattle, or NY.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical recruiting.
• Sourced Software Engineering roles across Backend, Infra, Security, Trust & Safety, Platform, and MLE.
• Technical sourcing, recruiting, or candidate evaluation.
• Supports engineering, data, or infrastructure hiring.
• Evaluates profiles beyond keywords (GitHub, systems, impact).
• Operates in high-volume, high-bar environments.
• Maintains speed without compromising quality.
• ATS systems knowledge.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience
• Must have directly sourced for Software Engineering roles across Backend, Infrastructure, Security, Trust & Safety, Product, Platform Engineering, and Machine Learning Engineering (MLE)
• Technical sourcing, recruiting, or candidate evaluation
• Supporting hiring for engineering, data, or infrastructure roles

Demonstrated ability to:

• Evaluate technical profiles beyond keywords (GitHub, systems, scale, impact)
• Operate in high-volume, high-bar environments
• Maintain speed without compromising quality
• Strong understanding of:
• Technical org structures and hiring patterns
• Inbound-heavy pipelines (referrals, applicants)
• ATS systems
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills
