Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sourcing or recruitment experience in a fast-growing tech environment.
• Proven ability to hire senior, staff, and principal engineers and engineering managers in competitive markets.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand complex engineering roles and translate requirements into signals.
• Expertise with advanced sourcing methods including x-ray searches, GitHub/repo mining, and conference tracking.
• Experience with modern sourcing tools (SeekOut, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub) and ATS (Greenhouse).

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles.
• Conduct TAM research to size talent pools and inform hiring timelines.
• Develop job-mapping strategies by analyzing competitors and relevant companies.
• Build and execute customized sourcing strategies using targeted outreach.
• Identify and engage talent and partner with recruiters to scale teams.
• Create personalized outreach campaigns highlighting Discord's technical challenges.
• Own candidate experience from outreach to recruiter handoff.
• Represent Discord at events and build long-term talent communities.
• Maintain data hygiene and pipeline health metrics to optimize sourcing ROI.
